Editor
I have been a freelance copy and content editor for over fifteen years. I have worked with both non-fiction and fiction. Click the link to see samples of my editor notes to fiction authors.

I graduated from Emerson College in 2026 with a master's degree in Publishing and Writing. Click the link to view some of my projects.
My work as an author.
I am self-published under the name Jessie Sanders. My works include a YA urban fantasy series titled Grover Cleveland Academy, the romance novel Making Room, and short stories set in the fantastical world of Pocatello. I am currently working on a full-length novel set in Pocatello titled Clouds of Coal and Magic.
My work as a book editor.
I have been editing authors' manuscripts since 2011, both as a copy editor and as a developmental editor. Some genres I have worked in include memoir, fantasy, thriller, and romance. I use CMOS for these works.
My work in digital publishing.
As a graduate student I discovered a new love for magazine editing, design, and journalism and refreshed my knowledge of the digital publishing landscape. I look forward to using my digital publishing and design skills in future work. Check out the examples of my work on my portfolio page.
